
The length of each mission is determined by your play style and difficulty, but on average they last about 90 minutes - expect more if you’re trying to obtain an unseen stealth rating, and double that to obtain all collectibles, runes and bone charms. Of course, you can also play somewhere in between. You can easily miss it, and spend hours roaming the mansion without success. You won’t be able to progress through the mission until you’ve found it, but it’s very well hidden. Once each as protagonists Emily and Corvo, and trying to obtain a low chaos (stealthily and non-lethal) and high chaos (all out attack) rating. It’s used to open up a large part of Stilton’s Manor during Mission 7: A Crack in the Slab. The developer recommends playing through Dishonored 2 at least twice.
